About Vedic Astrology
Vedic astrology is an Event-driven model like an operating system in computers. The operating system in computers has some automatic functions and some user-driven functions. Once started it takes inputs from users and runs various programs. We can do many things on top of the operating system. However, the operating system is basic to the computer. Vedic astrology is like that. When you are born at a certain space-time coordinates you come with an operating system with a lot of commonality and a lot of specializations. Applying Vedic astrology principles you can figure out how to maximize your life’s potential. Oldest astrology books contain more than 20k models that can be adapted to any number of events in modern life
Vedic astrology divides the universe into 360 degrees, 12 signs of 30 degrees. 360 degrees are also divided into 27 constellations of 13 degrees 20 minutes each. That gives two and quarter constellations per sign. Each sign can be further divided into 2,3,4,5,7,8,9,10,12, 16, 24 and 60 giving the smallest division 0 degree and 30 minutes. 24 hour day is also divided similarly. The year is also divided similarly. Thus both time and space are divided by the same scale. It then places the 9 planets in these time-space coordinates to understand the interactions between time, space and planet energies. A large number of models are built based on these combinations, which can be used to understand how these interact with life on this planet.
